'International Investing – why it is still relevant'
Don't miss your chance to attend the next BT Wrap Advantage Fund Manager Spotlight Webcast on Thursday, 2nd September 2010. On the day you will hear from BT Financial Group's Chief Economist Dr Chris Caton and three highly regarded Portfolio Managers.
It's a well known statistic that Australia represents a little over 2% of global markets and with local stocks having had a great run over the past few years many investors are asking 'is investing internationally still relevant?'
In BT Wrap Advantages next Spotlight they are joined by three global portfolio managers who will discuss why the diversification benefits of global investing are more important than ever given investment opportunities that have come about as a result of the GFC.
The following speakers will share their investment insights:
- Dr Chris Caton, BT Financial Group's Chief Economist, will provide his usual candid economic update.
- Brenda Reed (London), from Fidelity International examines the current investment opportunities available in the Global universe.
- Eric Sappenfield (New York), from Epoch Investment Partners discusses why in an era with cash building on balance sheets global companies have never been better positioned to increase their dividends.
- Kim Redding (Chicago), from AMP Capital Investors, shares his views on global property and puts the North American REIT market under the microscope.
When: Thursday, 2 September 2010
Time: 8:00am - 9:00am
